The Lighthouse menu, created by Executive Chef and Partner Izu Ani, focuses on innovative Mediterranean-inspired dishes prepared from fresh and seasonal produce providing the highest quality food in an informal environment – whether this is indoors in the stylish restaurant space or al fresco in The Lighthouse terrace. The Lighthouse concept store boasts a handpicked selection of gifting merchandise including glassware, serveware, travel and lifestyle accessories as well as books and papeterie by international and regional designers. The Lighthouse is named after one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, the Lighthouse of Alexandria, a figure that remained one of the tallest man-made structures for many centuries. The name is also a nod to the modernist author Virginia Woolf and members of the Bloomsbury Set who gathered for conversation and companionship, and, while doing so, shared many meals together. This philosophy is at the heart of The Lighthouse ethos as it aims to inspire dialogue through collaborative events including book readings and live conversation sessions.
